The BATSS consortium is formed by 10 partners from Austria, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland.

CID (Coordinator)

A Spanish R&D organisation specialised in advanced battery technologies, coordinates the project and supports the thermal and mechanical modelling.

A Spanish research foundation representing industry group CIE Automotive, contributes to the design of the battery system’s multi-functional cover.

A French research organisation, focuses on the modelling activities to feed the project’s design and simulations, and emulates different potential use cases.

Austria’s largest research and technology organisation, leads the Battery Management System development.

A German leading company for the recycling of rechargeable batteries, leads the definition of the recycling methodology and battery pack recovering loop.

The Spanish Standardisation body, facilitates the connection of BATSS’ work with the ongoing and future work in Li-ion battery standardisation.

A Belgian electromobility research centre, integrates the battery system models in a Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation to check their performance.

A Spanish applied innovation engineering firm, leads the dissemination, communication and exploitation of the project.

An Austrian battery system manufacturer, brings their scalable and modular concept and their knowledge about battery user needs in the electromobility sector.

A Swiss R&D centre of FPT Industrial, provides their understanding of electric vehicle user needs in terms of sustainable mobility.
