The European Automotive Research Partners Association (EARPA) held its Spring Meeting 2026 on 3-4 March 2026, in Brussels, Belgium. The event provided an excellent opportunity for members to join exclusive sessions, receive updates on EU R&I policy, and gain insights into the current state of the EU automotive industry and the key challenges it faces. The programme also featured plenary sessions and discussions on priority topics for the automotive research community.
Iosu Cendoya from CIDETEC, our project coordinator, attended the meeting, where he presented the latest BATSS research developments. He also co-moderated one of the Collaborative Research Group sessions on Batteries, in which members explored new opportunities for collaboration on Horizon Europe–funded research topics. EARPA’s established platform brings together leading automotive researchers, enabling them to contribute to the European Research Area and support future investment opportunities within the sector.
