The BATSS project has been highlighted in the latest edition of CIE Automotive’s internal corporate magazine, further strengthening its visibility among specialised audiences.
As CIE Automotive partners have now finalised the battery pack design, the company has dedicated a full feature to the project, including an in-depth cover highlight on page 10. The magazine is available in both English & Spanish editions.
In this feature, BATSS is introduced in detail, with a strong focus on the project’s work on the engineering and construction of full‑scale battery packs across three strategic sectors. The article also outlines BATSS’s safe‑by‑design methodology and emphasises CIE Automotive’s contribution since the beginning of the project. Their work is essential for the design and development of battery pack trays and housings, which are key components for:
- integrating the battery module,
- assembling the complete pack, and
- incorporating the cooling system.
These solutions follow a scalable and modular approach, ensuring adaptability to the three application types considered in the project.
