The BATSS consortium is organising its Closing Event, From concept to integrated, sustainable and scalable battery solutions in Europe, taking place on 27 October 2026 at NaturKlima, San Sebastián, Spain. Organised by LOMARTOV and CIDETEC, this full-day event will mark the culmination of the BATSS project, bringing together leading voices from research, industry and European initiatives to discuss the future of advanced, sustainable and competitive battery systems in Europe.
Through keynote sessions, expert roundtables and project presentations, the event will provide a platform to exchange knowledge on the latest developments in battery technologies, addressing key challenges and opportunities across the battery value chain, from sustainable frameworks and industrialisation to energy storage, advanced mobility applications and circularity.
The BATSS Closing Event will showcase both BATSS achievements and the wider European innovation landscape in advanced battery systems, fostering collaboration and supporting the transition from research and development to market-ready, sustainable solutions.
