Our partners at MIBA Battery Systems presented the latest innovations of the BATSS project through a poster session at the 20th International Eco-Mobility Conference in Vienna.
The Eco-Mobility Conference, organised by A3PS, brings together political, industrial, and scientific stakeholders. A3PS is a strategic partnership dedicated to strengthening Austria’s industry and research institutions in the areas of advanced drive systems, innovative vehicle technologies, new energy sources and storage for mobile applications. This year’s edition focused on “Fostering Competitiveness of Vehicle Industry – From Research to Application”, uniting leading experts to discuss strategies and innovations shaping the future of sustainable mobility and energy solutions.
During the conference, MIBA Battery Systems partners presented the BATSS project with a poster titled: “Safe-by-Design Approach for High Power / High Energy Battery Systems Using 46xx Cylindrical Lithium-Ion Secondary Battery Cells Safety Aspects”.
In this contribution, MIBA showcased the project as a key case study, demonstrating an innovative safe-by-design concept for a recyclable and repairable high energy/high power battery, emphasising its significant role in the future of the mobility sector.
The poster is available for download in the Papers and Publications section of our website.

Many thanks to our partners for showcasing BATSS and helping to strengthen impact and results, while fostering collaboration across the research and industrial community. Stay tuned for more updates!
